Quantification of curium isotopes in environmental samples: drawbacks, speciation and specific tracer

چکیده
In this study, drawbacks of the use 243Am as a tracer in order to quantify curium isotopes during complex chemical procedure were highlighted. These investigated through speciation computation simulation based on compilation over 50 stability constants. A new standard was then characterized and used wide 244Cm activities range environmental samples. Obtained results excellent agreement with spiked more consistent than those obtained when using tracer.

To study the role of broad-host-range IncP-1 plasmids in bacterial adaptability to irregular environmental challenges, a quantitative real-time PCR assay was developed that specifically detects the korB gene, which is conserved in all IncP-1 plasmids, in environmental samples.
